ALFRED J. JOHNSTON, 84, of Paoli, PA passed away on Thursday July 11, 2013. Alfred was the husband of 62 years to Charlotte (NEE Faulkner) Johnston. Alfred proudly served his county in the US Army as Military Intelligence. He spent his 38 Year Career with Sun Oil Company, retiring as a Senior Executive. Alfred was an avid golfer and long time member of Waynesborough County Club. Surviving are 3 children: Alfred J. (Gloria) Johnston III, Mary Elizabeth (Lars) Reijer and William (Jude) Johnston; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. RElatives and friends may call on Monday July 15 at ALLEVA FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1724 East Lancaster Ave. from 6-8PM. A Funeral Mass will begin on Tuesday 10AM at The Daylesford Abbey: 220 South Valley Road., Paoli, PA. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
