Ann (Annie) Swift was swept up into the arms of Our Lord August 16, 2024. Annie was born June 13, 1957 in Orange, New Jersey. She lived most of her adult life at Devereux in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. She is predeceased by her parents, Ernest (Buzzy) and Margaret Cosker Swift, stepmother Frances Swift, her brother Ernest Swift, JR., and brother-in-law William Deakyne. She is survived by her loving sister Mary Deakyne, stepbrother Gordon Jahnig, her nieces and nephews and their spouses, Bill and Yumi Deakyne, Maryanne and Michael Holt, Ernest and Kathryn Deakyne and Timothy and Jennifer Deakyne and great nieces and nephews Grace, Seamus, T.J., Logan, Margaret, Cassian, William, Dolores and Mimosa. Annie was a passionate Giants fan despite living in rival territory. She was also an avid armchair golfer and tennis player. Annie loved good food, travelling, and her time working in the sheltered workshop. The family is grateful to the staff at Devereux and the parishioners of St. Monica Church in Berwyn.
Services for Ann are scheduled for Friday, August 23, 2024 at St. Monica Church (63 Main Ave, Berwyn, PA 19312). A visitation will begin at 10:00am, with Mass to follow at 11:00am. Interment will be private, at the convenience of the family.
