Charles P. Sofia Jr.

Chuck passed away on June 8, 2023. He was 68 years old. Born in Schodack Landing, New York on December 23, 1954, he lived there until he went to school to study architectural design at a New York College. Chuck was working on Marco Island, Florida when he met his future wife, Noel Sofia (neé Ristine) in 1990.

In 1992 they moved to Wayne, PA. Chuck, a master carpenter and cabinet maker, started his own company, C. P. Sofia Construction, meticulously building and renovating both residential and commercial properties throughout the area, that according to customers, became his legacy. On June 7th, 1997, he and Noel married.

Chuck was an avid fisherman and an excellent golfer. He enjoyed deep-sea fishing when he had the opportunity to be in salt water and playing golf for fun and in charity tournaments.

Chuck is survived by his wife Noel (nee Ristine) and also 10 brothers and sisters, Lawrence Sofia, Denise Carpinello (Willie), Sandra Papandrea, Dawn Morris, Brenda Gloris, Joseph Sofia, Michael Sofia, Sharon Mantaski (Bob), Lisa Sofia (David Pulikowski) and Mary Sofia. He is also survived by 2 stepsisters, Sherri Grieco (Benny), Shelly Simms (Alan) and one stepbrother, Richard Mull, Jr. In addition he is survived by 24 nieces and nephews. Chuck is predeceased by his father, Charles P. Sofia, Sr., his mother, Marie E. Mull and niece Gemma Premiro.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 23rd from 11:30-12:30 in Sajer Hall at The Alleva Funeral Home. Inc. 1724 E. Lancaster Ave. Paoli, PA. Funeral Services to follow at, 12:30pm in Sajer Hall at the funeral home.
