Ed hired me for my first job after graduating from College. He was one of the most helpful colleagues in my 25 years at Wyeth. He ended every conversation with a smile and a laugh. My deepest condolences to the Sharpless family.

I am saddened to hear of Ed's passing and for the Sharpless' family loss. He was one of the many great people I grew up among in Paoli.

Ginger I am so sorry to hear of Ed's passing.  Many years of remembering Ed from Perkins working with  my mom to Wyeth.  Such a great man, thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

My deepest condolences to the Sharpless family.  I worked with Ed for many years at Wyeth and will always remember him as he is pictured on this site with a friendly smile for all. Ed was a great colleague, friend and mentor to many of us and will be greatly missed.

Easy Ed we would call him on the Softball team, We had so much fun with Ed and John and Ron,  Gus and I considered it a privilege playing for the Gun Shop in Malvern.

Ed was one of my favorite bosses at Wyeth. Always a gentleman, always offered a smile, always in good humor, and managed by means of inclusion.  I treasure the time I worked with him and was very saddened to learn of his passing. Please know I hold the Sharpless family in my thoughts and prayers.

So sad to hear about this.  Ed was a good man, a mentor and one whom I always respected.  He seemed to be always smiling.  Sincere condolences to his family.
