Florence T. Buono

Florence T. (nee D ‘Amore) Buono, 88, of Paoli, PA and formerly of Rochelle Park, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday August 14, 2015. Florence was the wife of the late Nicholas Buono and daughter of the late Mary (nee Correale) & Ralph D’Amore. Florence was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 23, 1927. Florence loved spending time with her family, enjoyed cooking for friends and family (specialties included stuffed artichokes and pasta fagioli), dancing and co-hosting movie nights at Paoli Pointe. She always impressed us with her sophisticated sense of style. Florence also loved spending time at Surrey Senior Center and volunteered there for many years. She was predeceased by a brother: Vincent D’Amore. Florence is survived by three children: Richard Buono (Deborah) of Tuxedo, NY; Lesley Rodak (Ralph) of Berwyn, PA and Robert Buono of Cape Coral, FL.; four granddaughters: Mariel Staszewski (Jonathon), Lauren Buono, Sabrina Ashwell (Benjamin) and Brittany Rodak and two great-granddaughters. Also surviving is a sister, Elizabeth Liguori. Relatives and friends may call on Thurs. Aug. 20, 2015 from 6-8PM at Alleva Funeral Home, Inc.: 1724 E. Lancaster Ave. Paoli, PA and again on Fri. Aug. 21, 2015 from 930-1030AM at St. Norbert Church: 50 Leopard Rd. Paoli, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1030AM. Burial private by the request of the family.
