Joseph J. Gebhardt

Gebhardt on February 7, 2010 Joseph John Gebhardt Ph.D. age 86 of Malvern, died at Majestic Oak Nursing Home. Son of the late Louis and Florence Gebhardt. Beloved husband of Doris (nee Schlosser) and the late Mary Alice (nee Schroeder) Gebhardt. He was a chemist at GE for over 30 years. He was a guitarist in the Moonlighters Band and a volunteer for 33 years for the Associated Services for the Blind. He also participated in stage acts at the Surrey Club and was a Veteran of WWII. Loving father of John F. (Isabel) Gebhardt of Havertown and Genevieve (Patrick) Marek of Seattle, step-father of John R. Boardman also survived by 1 granddaughter Melanie A. Gebhardt and 2 step granddaughters Gallen and Molly Boardman, brother of Dorothy (Thomas) Sheehy of Middlesex NJ.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00am Monday February 15, 2010 at St. Norbert’s Church 50 Leopard Road Paoli, PA 19301 where friends may call after 10:00am in the church. Interment Calvary Cem. W. Conshohocken. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the above named church.
