Mary T. Connor

Mary T. Connor (nee O’Malley), 91, of Berwyn, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Maisie was born on March 4,1930 in Philadelphia to Edward and Mary (Redmond) O’Malley. A graduate of Mater Misericordia Academy and Rosemont College, Maisie was an accomplished painter, artist and writer.

Maisie married the love of her life, Charlie Connor in 1954 and enjoyed 51 wonderful years with her best friend and golf partner. She was a loving mother to four children, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

As a member of St. David’s Golf Club since 1957, Maisie was an avid golfer and once scored a hole-in-one on St. David’s 6th hole. When not on the links, she could be found playing her weekly bridge game with friends. Throughout her entire life, Maisie enjoyed fun-filled summers in Ocean City, New Jersey and warm winters in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

Maisie was preceded in death by her husband Charles J. Connor in 2005 and brothers Edward O’Malley, Kevin O’Malley and John O’Malley. She is survived by her children; Charles (Dianne) Connor of Wilmington, NC; Mary (Joseph) Buckley of Downingtown, PA; John (Linda) Connor of Jacksonville, FL; and Brian (Colleen) Connor of North Wales, PA. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren; Josh (Meghan) Connor, Kate Connor, Mary Christine (Derrick) Alvarez, Joseph (Bridget) Buckley, Tucker Connor, Elizabeth Connor, Sean Connor, Malley Connor, Bridget Connor and three great-grandchildren; Connor Buckley, Nora Buckley and Ashton Connor.

A celebration of Maisie’s life will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Visitation will be begin at 10:30 AM with Mass at 11:30 AM. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
