It’s hard to believe that it’s been about two years now. Even though I wasn’t a huge part of Nathan’s life, I still find myself thinking about him often. He had this incredible ability to make anyone smile, to bring light into any room he walked into. His kindness and energy were contagious, and I feel so grateful to have had the chance to know him, even if only for a short time. I don’t really know why I am writing this I guess I just wanted to share about how much of an impact Nathan had on everyone who was around him and how the impact had not faded.

Ik it’s been about two years now and I was not a huge part of Nathan life but I still think about him pretty frequently. The way he was able to make anyone smile and how he should be at college now. I don’t really know why I am writing this I guess I just wanted to share how much of an impact Nathan had on me in the time I was able to spend with him and how even though it’s been two year I still feel that impact.

I’m in italy right now, I remember the one time when we were talking about all the places we went and you said the worst place you been to is Italy but you couldn’t give me a reason, I now know why you said that I’ve been here for almost two weeks and I keep seeing everything you would hate, and I actually was talking about you last night when I was out with my friend Keegan we spent all night pretty much talking about Italy and everything he said he liked I thought in my head (god Nathan would hate that) I hate it here too I never met someone who hated travelling as much as me 

I told my friends at work a story about you yesterday.  We were all standing around waiting for customers and you know just talking and my friend Joey and I started talking about the scariest dream  we've ever had. His was dreaming about having sleep paralysis, and I told him mine was the one I had the night you passed away. It was so bad that I woke up balling my eyes out like a baby, but that's beside the point. Anyways that got us into a thirty minute long conversation about you and he smiled and laughed so much as I told him about you. That was probably the highlight of my three day weekend, being able to share my memories of you with other people. And I loved that I got to talk about it with Joey specifically because he reminds me so much of you when he dances through the kitchen singing to everyone he passes by. He's been the best part about my working experience so far and seeing your goofiness, careringness, and your ability to just start up conversations with anyone, in Joey brings me so much comfort and happiness, because working with him makes me not worry about the possibility that I might forget about you. I know that for as long as I have this job I will always be reminded of you through him, and I can't wait to tell more people about the epic life you lived, that we all we're lucky enough to be apart of. 

Dear Nathan,
I miss you so much, I think about you every day, I miss you every day the world is a much lonelier place without you the loneliness creeps up on me when I’m alone or when I go to bed and all I think about is you all I think about is how I just want to call you and talk to you the way we used to do.
The boys played the best lax game I have ever scene it was truly “elite” as you would of called it I still have a hard time accepting that you are gone because you were so constant in my life for so long I still can’t believe that there is actually a world without you in it and I think outsiders or people who don’t understand this type of pain just don’t get it that it doesn’t go away I used to believe that time heals all wounds but this type of pain is something you learn to live with something that becomes a part of who you are.
But I would like to thank you Nathan because I had some of the most beautiful moments of my life with  you ,were the friend I always wanted that I could always count on and that is something I will always miss I would give the world for one more hug or one more of your annoying voice mail messages or your spamming my phone with like 7 texts just to get my attention you were one of two people who could bypass do not disturb on my phone which is something I don’t think you realized I would be in a meeting and my phone would be going off and I’d have no way of silencing it, now I laugh thinking about this.
I miss your eyes and the look you would give me from across the room it was like we had full conversations without saying anything,
I miss your enthusiasm to just go for a hike whenever we had a chance I remember sitting on this cliff with you in mid December it was so cold and we were skipping school that day because it was a half day remember that was the day you convinced me to try TacoBell.

Ever since that day i've lost apart of me, the part thats always laughing so much i cant breathe. I miss having you around, talking to you about girl problems and your inspirational speeches because i really listened and looked up to you. You always knew how to have good time, always living on the edge and always fun to be around. Your still the only man to this day who helped me out when i needed it. Ive been to the place of the incident, they uprooted the tree and now its a thriving field of grass and flowers...so calm and tranquil. Just the opposite of you haha. The truth is i miss you, i miss the trouble we'd get in, i miss your advice, your stupid fake laugh, and your stupidly funny sense of humor. I know your watching out for us somewhere up there. If only you could listen to all the stuff id been through and give me some of that inspirational speech....because i need it now more than ever. After all this time it still pains me as much as the morning I first heard..it doesn't get easier...but instead of being sad about how you are gone I share a laugh or a smile of what kinda dumb trouble we got into.
Time heals all wounds, doesn't mean it still wont hurt.

Nate, you changed my life more than I thought you would. You made me so happy when I knew you & I always missed you and wanted you to come back to school. But you never did. My grief isn’t consistent with what I expected, but i’m glad I have it because it is the only thing I have left of you that isn’t a photo or a silent memory of u in my mind. I am constantly confronted with the memory of you, and my mind doesn’t know how to handle it. I know you’d be so proud of me right now if you saw what I plan to do with my future. There are so many things I wish I could tell you, and I’d kill for an extra five minutes with you. I hope you’re having fun teaching all of the little kids in Heaven how to play lacrosse, and I hope Heaven has been giving you a good start to your 17th. You’ll always mean everything to me and you were one of the best things that has happened to me. You’ve always been the funniest friend and I miss you so much everyday. I hope you’re watching over everyone you knew and I know you’re wishing us good luck and cheering us on from the sidelines. I love youu

Happy birthday Nathan, I miss you more then words can tell. I’ve cried everyday since February 12th. I miss the way you use to get annoyed whenever I called you Nate. I miss when you use to send me pictures of you and Regan. I miss when you would text me about Colleen every single day you had her saying she was “The top G”.  I keep getting reminders of you where ever I go, like when my mom mom put on golf and all my friends talking about lacrosse. Even when I’m at school I’ll find myself telling stories about you. I wish I could tell you all the things I’m doing, like when we promised we were going to try acting, I’m going to a casting call for Mayor of east town and I’m still watching Gilmore girls because I promised I would watch all of it. I still talk about you with Nina everyday and I even changed locker number to 16.  I miss you and you will always be on my mind, happy birthday.

It’s been 58 days, 9 hours, and 26 minutes since the day you died and I thought after the first few weeks I would just forget and move on. I mean I hoped I would because you’re the first person I’ve ever known and lost, and even now I’m still trying to figure out how to deal. But everyday I think about you or remember something about you. Even in little moments like when I’m in the car listening to music and I see something that I think you’d laugh at. Or when I’m at school and I say something that you use to say and in that moment it just feels like you’re still here. Like I’ll see you walking to your next class or something, but I never do and that sucks so much. But I don’t know I guess I just find comfort in the fact that I don’t think I’ll ever forget you. Even if I want to sometimes, my brain just wont let me forget what an amazing person I got to know these past two years. We all miss you so much Nate. Happy early birthday gng <3

My speech from Nathan’s memorial service - Part (4/4): Later that night, I found this taped to my bedroom door. I know most of you can’t see this, but it’s the two dollars I gave him with two sticky notes stuck to them. One of the sticky notes says, “I love you, form Nathan” with a heart, and the other says “Nathan” with a heart and a smiley face drawn inside it. I love everything about it. I love that he taped the two dollars to my door when he could have just handed them to me, I love that he used two sticky notes, one neon pink and the other neon green, when he could have just used one, I love that he taped the green one to the dollar (I guess he didn’t trust its stickiness), I love that he signed his name twice rather than just once, I love that he wrote “form Nathan” rather than “from Nathan”, and I love that he drew two hearts and especially that he drew a smiley face in one of them. I love thinking about him concocting this idea in his head, and the visual of him sitting down at his desk to put it all together and then sneaking over to my door to tape it up.

I think this story represents Nate well because although he more often than not “couldn’t be tamed”, he had the sweetest heart. I’m going to have this framed and hung in my apartment.

To my baby brother Nathan, it was the greatest honor of my life to be your older sister. I am so grateful for the time we had and that you were not only my little brother, but also my friend. I love you so purely, with all of my heart, and I will miss you and think about you everyday.

My speech from Nathan’s memorial service - Part (3/4): It’s hard to think about everything Nate wasn’t able to do, but at the same time, it warms my heart to know that he had friends and hobbies that he loved, that he was trying to better himself, and that he was planning for his future. He would always say that he was going to be a rich and famous actor one day and that he’d buy us all houses under one condition: the houses had to be in Pennsylvania because Pennsylvania is the best and because then we could all be together. I would have loved to live in a commune with him.

One of my favorite memories of Nathan was from when he was much younger. I wish I could remember exactly how old he was, but I must have still been in high school so he couldn’t have been older than nine. He was in a bad habit of misbehaving in the morning before school, and my parents were struggling to get him out the door. I went against I’m sure every parenting book out there and tried bribing him. I even made the mistake of giving him the money in advance. I gave him two whole dollars to please, please get ready for school nicely that morning. Morning came and went and I returned from school myself to find that he in fact did not behave that morning. I talked with him that afternoon and told him I was upset he didn’t follow through on our deal.

My speech from Nathan’s memorial service - Part (2/4): He worked at Crumbl, so we also talked about the cookie flavors that week. I told him that they sounded good and asked if he had tried any, and he informed me that he was trying to cut back on sugar and therefore only eating one dessert a week. When I asked him what his one dessert was for the past few weeks, he told me he had a chocolate milkshake from Handel’s one week and fudge-covered Oreos the next. I asked him how many Oreos he had and he said he ate the whole pack. I said, “Nate, I don’t think it counts as one dessert if you eat the whole pack” and he said, “Yeah, but it was a small pack. It only had like twelve Oreos in it”. I said, “Oh, my bad, yeah, you’re right, twelve is definitely the recommended portion”.

We also talked about the upcoming Super Bowl. He told he had been watching all of the Eagles games with his friends at Devon’s house, and that they were planning to watch the Super Bowl at Devon’s too but that Devon was apparently complaining about it being too much work to host. Nate made fun of him and said, “It’s not even that hard. All he has to do is buy some snacks and clean up, and we’ll help”. I know how much he loved his friends and how badly he wanted to make it there that night.

My speech from Nathan’s memorial service - Part (1/4): Good morning everyone. Thank you for coming. For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Nathan’s older sister, Brooke. One of my friends growing up used to remind me all the time that my Webkinz username (for those of you who don’t know what Webkinz is, they were stuffed animals you could buy at the store and then register online to play with virtually) was “my4brothers”. I’m pretty sure I had a “my4brothers” email as well. Having four brothers was and still is one of the biggest pieces of my identity, like “Hi, I’m Brooke and I have four brothers”. I love them so much. I loved my little Nate so much.

My mom suggested I call him the week before the accident and I’m so glad she did. We talked for about an hour about this and that and it was so nice to feel him smile and hear him laugh over the phone. He told me the acting classes he had recently started taking were going well and that he wanted to practice for a few more months before taking any auditions. He also told me that he was trying to start working out in the morning, and that he worked out in the morning three times that week but wanted to work out six times a week. I thought three times a week was a lot, especially given he was practicing lacrosse for nearly two hours a day as well. His response was simple. He said, “Tyler works out six times a week”. I thought it was sweet that he wanted to be just like his older brother.

I’d like to offer the whole Veale family my prayers and deepest condolences. I’m praying God grants you all a strength and peace that passes all understanding. My name is Malachi and I was the District Manager at Crumbl when Nate first started. I shared so many laughs with Nate, as I’d often give him instructions and he’d be staring at me as if he was paying close attention to everything I said, but would end up asking me to repeat myself because he wasn’t really listening lol. But one of my fondest memories of Nate was back in November. I was leaving for a wedding out of state and I had opened the store that day, it was only Nate myself and one other employee opening. I was extremely nervous because we had so much to do that morning and I knew I’d have to put Nate on ovens. So I’m explaining to Nate all that he needed to do to start the day and what times he needed to cook each cookie, and I was a bit nervous because I wasn’t sure if these were one of those times where he was looking at me like he was listening but really wasn’t, or if this was a time he was actually taking everything in lol. So I went to the front of the store  to start mixing dough and every time I’d come to check on Nate he had his phone out with everything I told him to do in his notes. And we got through the entire morning and he operated those ovens like a pro. But it mean so much to him to make me proud, and not disappoint me.  And that truly meant the world to me.  It showed me so much about Nate’s character. He showed so much fortitude that day.  Nate the Great will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on forever. He impacted so many in his short time here on earth. Sending love to all his family and loved ones.

A wise woman once said "Grief is the price we pay for love." It is a high price, but when the sorrow passes love remains.  For those who endure that grief now, know and remember how lucky you were to have loved someone so special.
From all the kind words I've heard about Nate, he was an open, wonderful, unique young man who was so loved by his family and friends. He was that rare, joyous spirit who walked through this world as one of the angels among us.
He possessed all the true gifts God grants us save one: the gift of length of years. Yet somehow he touched all who met him with kindness, humility and humor.

My heart goes out to the entire family of Nathan Veale.  I don't know the family.  I pass the accident area every day on my way to work and today I noticed a lacrosse stick. And that just tugged at my HEART. As  I have 2 sons that loved to play lacrosse.  Your son Nathan sounds like a beautiful young man.  May Nathan always shine on all that he LOVES.

I first met Nate as a quiet fifth grader in my Math class at DV. That first term, he was super focused and quiet, sure to complete any task put in front of him. By January, we started to get glimpses of Nate’s sense of humor, usually through daily detailed updates on his beloved cat, Mrs. Potts. By Spring, we were all aboard a Nate the Great roller coaster, not sure what was around the next turn, but always enchanted by the twinkle in his eye and brightened by his joyful spirit. I am grateful for the privilege of watching Nate grow during his time at DV. Through it all, he never lost that sparkle or his ability to shine bright in any room he entered, always lifting the spirits of those lucky enough to cross his path. Thanks to the Veale Family for sharing Nate the Great with us, we are grateful for the honor of working with such a special young man. May you find peace and comfort in knowing the joyful and lasting impact he had in the hearts of his DV Family.

I have know Nate since he was in 7th grade (I was in 8th) he truly brought so much light to DV. He would always dance around the halls and be playing his music. Every time we past each other in the halls he would give me a high five/handshake and ask how my day was going. I’ve known Nathan since he was in 5th grade. I’ve enjoyed watching him grow and mature over the years. While we weren’t the closest whenever we did get the chance to talk to one another he would always make me smile and brighten up my day with his goofy jokes. I remember that I brought a couple souvenirs from Brazil, and what he liked most and kept was a 1 Real coin, from that moment he showed me that doesn’t matter the value on it, but the intention you put on it. 

He really liked recording funny videos, specially pranks, racing on scooter, playing detective…  Always being creative, happy, funny, goofy and sometimes as I told him: “complicated”, he laughed at that and was always joking with that: Lucas, why are you so complicated? 😂😂

Words cannot convey the sadness that I have at the loss of Nathan.  While it has been some time since I have seen him, my memories of Nathan in primary and as a young child always fill my heart with warmth and joy. To the Veale Family I’m so deeply sorry for your loss. I got to know Tyler well in a period of my life.  He would always talk so fondly of his family.  My sister and Tyler would tell me these amazing stories of funny things the twins did.  When I finally got the pleasure of meeting the twins I was so happy when they were the funny, outgoing, joking twins I was told about.  I only had that brief interaction with Nathan in my life but over the past year I’ve seen Nathan more around the neighborhood.  On my way into work I’d see him waiting for the bus and on my way home from work l’d see him walking the family dog.  I’ll miss seeing him in the neighborhood.  I hope the Veale family is able to heal and that you guys carry Nathan’s memory forever.

You may not know me personally but I knew your son/brother as a friend from school and we had many talks about lots of different things. I saw him multiple times a day as we spoke in the hallway, danced together in between classes, and spent time in homeroom together. Nate and I talked a lot about where we worked, about relationships, about music, about classes and about funny things that happened in our lives. He had such a funny sense of humor and always made coming to school more than just the average 'going to school.'

He always complained about the hairnets he had to wear for work and complained that he looked like a lunch lady. Whenever he would make dinner reservations he would make fake names and when he got off the phone he would laugh about it, one being the infamous pseudonym "Ricardo Veale." He always danced during advisory and played music on Jackie's Amazon Alexa and jammed out at 8:30 sharp every morning.

He and I made a funny note one time and put it in Jackie's classroom hoping one day someone would find it and laugh, and we cracked up about it every morning when he would open it back up and show me.

I often wondered in passing when he would return to school and many advisories I spent watching him leave the classroom. He would be on task and see a friend in the hallway and immediately walk out to talk to anyone that was outside, as he knew so many people and everyone loved him.

He really was a funny guy and he had mad dance moves. He played with his lacrosse stick all the time and he and I would talk about countless topics and he never failed to make me laugh.

Nathan was such a sweet person and always helped to make someone's day better, sometimes he meant to and sometimes he just made you feel better.

I wish I had cherished these moments more, but I will forever be grateful that I got to know him and that we had the moments that we did.

Dede, Tim, Brooke, Tyler, Brandon and Evan. I am truly heartbroken for all of you. Nathan was such a special boy. I have so many good memories of Nathan flooding my head. Little Nathan in his rain boots exploring outside, riding down the driveway on his plasma car, baking in the kitchen, drinking sippy cups of chocolate milk to keep weight on, and many many hours at the dining room table doing homework. One of Nathan’s favorite projects was the holiday book diorama in second grade(I think 2nd). Nathan was always willing to work with me first, he was a trooper.   He always brought a smile to my face. Nathan was simply amazing there is no other way to put it!  Every time I talked to him or spent time with him I learned something new about him he had so many interesting facets like one time time I convinced him to go to longwood gardens with me this fall and when he saw the bonsai exhibit he told me that he and Evan had taken a bonsai class together and he was so excited to talk about it.
Every time we would hangout he would talk about his family and friends I feel that although I had never talked to most of his family in depth that I got to know parts of you through him but most of all I learned how much he loved each and every one of you and all his reasons why.
I can’t even begin to imagine the pain that you are feeling right now I want you to know that we are all here for you whatever you guys need for however long you need.

Nate I still text you, I somehow think you can hear me if I do. Nate you were such a funny and silly guy. You always had me dying of laughter, you made everyone around you smile and laugh. Nate was the person I could talk to and share everything with and he would be honest with me.

Over the summer I went through I really bad heartbreak, it through my whole world upside down. Nate was the one who was there. He gave me advise to be a better person to make a new me. He said to work on yourself, care for yourself and to improve/focus on your mental health. Without him I'd probably still be lost.

It seems like just yesterday I stood in that cold line and got ice cream together. I miss you Nate. I love you buddy ❤️

 I am so sorry for this devastating loss of a cherished family member like Nate. I hope that the time spent creating memories with him and the stories you have shine on through him forever. Some of my funniest memories with Branden through the last six years have been peppered with stories of Nathan’s antics, and watching as he matured through the years. He was one of a kind and always made an effort to say “hey” or ask what you were up to whenever he saw us spending time at your house. He will be greatly missed and although the road ahead is unclear, I’m certain the love your family has for eachother will only grow stronger. ❤️

He will be so greatly missed. I’m keeping you all in my thoughts. In the few times we interacted, I always found Nathan to be witty, charming, authentic, and outgoing. As a twin myself, I couldn’t fathom experiencing a loss like this. You Veales are so resilient and tightly knit, and there’s no doubt you will heal from this tragedy. But it’s a tricky, confusing process. I hope you all give yourselves the time and space to mourn. He’s surely watching over you all, pets included. It was sometimes hard to believe that the young man on the DVFriends lacrosse team, with his mischievous sense of humor, surrounded by friends, and a deep level of self-reflection was the same person as the little guy who was driven to school each day by his older brother in fifth grade. My name is Yanniah I knew  Nathan  in fifth grade Nathan was  always the most funniest person ever.  I got the chance to be in the same advisory with Nathan in fifth grade and he made wonderful and funny for me. When we be in advisory class together and always gotta joke when come into class. I would be  sad and would be cracking me up with silliest jokes he comes up with. I got to know Nathan  through 5-7 grade and it was fun. Anyway Nathan I hope your up there making people laugh because that's what your really  good at Nathan.


I am truly so sorry for the family of Nathan. Working with him was honestly such a blessing and I am heartbroken. He was so positive and had the kindest heart. Coming into work was 1000% better when I saw him. He was one of the funniest people and one of the easiest to talk to. My heart aches thinking about what the Veale family is going through. I am so sorry. Thank you for raising such a sweet, caring, and genuine human. He impacted me and so many others in the most positive ways. 

I’ve never met Nate or even the Veale family. I heard about this tragedy through my son. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Talk about Nate everyday and keep his memory alive. 



I was having a tough day and Nate and Asher did a little dance for me before class to cheer me up and it worked. Something so simple made a big difference and for that I will always be grateful for Nate, a simple easy going guy who made huge differences in every room he walked in to.

i don’t even know how to start this but Nathan you where one of my favorites at crumbl . We would always play around and makes jokes and just laugh louder than ever🕊️These past couple of days i didn’t know what to do i would just sit and cry but i knew you would want me to get up and do what i’m best at and there isn’t a time in my day that i don’t go by and think about you . I miss your singing battles and our jokes. I miss washing dishes with you and you get splash water on me and i get mad and you go “jasmine we all have bad days but i think you’re might be the worst” Anyway nathan i hope your up there making people laugh because that’s what makes you nathan 

Dear Veale Family, 

I would like to extend my deepest condolences on Nate's passing. Over the years, your family has treated me like your own. I have probably overstayed my welcome many times. During all these dinners, events, and nights at the Veale house, I had the honor of watching Nate grow up. I could always count on him for a joke or a witty comeback which we would affectionately share almost every time we saw each other. I never had siblings, but Nathan was the closest thing I had to a little brother I ever had. He will never be forgotten and always be missed. Your family is in my prayers. God bless you all.  

Dear Tim, Dede, Tyler and Veale Family, 

I want to express my deepest condolences for the loss of Nathan. Nate was one of the most uplifting and positive individuals I have ever known. It’s been a pleasure watching him grow and mature over the years. Anytime I would stop over and Nate would be around, I would no doubt be leaving with a couple great laughs and a smile on my face. His energy and enthusiasm were unmatched and it was always a delight spending time with him. I thought of Nate as a little brother, and I will forever miss him. May Nate’s legacy live on and forever be in our hearts. I send your family my thoughts and prayers.

It is impossible to put into words what a big hole Nate has left in our hearts. Our Advisory just has 7 students in it...Nate's presence was such a big one. He arrived each day calling out to Alexa and starting to dance to the song he requested. He worked hard to try and get me to like Country Music. As large and silly as Nate was, he was also sensitive, honest and caring. He often came in to chat in the quieter moments of the day. He wanted to become a psychologist and he really wanted to work with children. Nate was also incredibly respectful - I think once he trusted you, he really trusted you. The last time I saw Nate was at the basketball game, jumping 3 feet in the air and cheering for DV. He was ecstatic, fired up, and grinning from ear to ear. We will miss you so much Nate, you are forever in my heart. 

Words cannot describe how heartbroken I am for the Veale family. I’ve known the Veale family since middle school and Brooke was the best big sister. She would do anything to make her brothers happy and they’d always look up to her. I’m so sorry for your loss and your family will be in my thoughts!

Nathan was my best friend, he was pretty much the only person I had for a while. He always supported me through out every. Me and him had our ups and downs and we both knew that, but no matter what we were always there for each other. We told each other everything, we cried together and we laughed together. He would always come to my classroom during class because he knew my schedule. Even when we fought we made up almost instantly because we couldn’t take more then 10 minutes without each other. One of the biggest memory I have with him was in the summer. He used to love Lana Del Ray after he heard me play it when he was in the car with me. He put on “Summer Time Sadness” by her and looked right at me and screamed his 
favourite part of the song which was “Think I’ll miss you forever, like the stars miss the sun in the
 morning sky.” I loved him with all my heart and I 
still do, I’ll miss him forever.

Nate, you were always the person I would go to when I had a bad day because I knew just talking to you would cheer me up. You were not just a friend to me and the rest of your friends… you were family. You were always the kid who never failed to make anyone smile , or the best on the lacrosse team. Nate had his struggles like any other human being, but if there’s one thing to be said about him it’s that he was honest. He told me the truth no matter how much I didn’t want to hear it and even when I would lie and tell him I didn’t want to be bothered by him he never gave up. He made me laugh and smile. He was someone would could never not be liked because no matter how hard you tried to push him away, Nate was just the kind of person you naturally gravitate towards because not having him in your life just never felt right. You meant more to us then you’ll ever know. We miss you Nate.

i used to work with nathan at crumbl and hes one of the reasons i enjoyed working there. Whenever i saw him on the schedule i would always be so happy to work with him because i knew it was going to be a good shift. He always knew how to make me laugh and had some of the funniest stories. Nathan had the most infectious energy and personality it truly was amazing to have been able to know him. My heart goes out to his family and friends ❤️

Knowing Nathan and having him in my life truly was a privilege. I consider myself one of the luckiest people to have had him as a friend. Nathan brightened rooms just by walking in and never failed to make me laugh with his corny jokes and pick up lines. He by far was one of the funniest people i have ever met. We always had fun stealing the aux from Lily on Saturday morning shifts and i will forever hold on to those memories. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Again, it was a privilege to have known you and you are so incredibly missed. Thank you for the endless laughs and smiles. Love you Nathan.

I didn’t really get to know Nate that much in school but I would here him in the hallways all the time.  He was a really sweet kid, he was the kid who would make everyone smile. I’m so sorry for the Veale Family can’t even imagine how it feels.  R.I.P Nathan Veale❤️

Nathan has such an infectious energy and brought so much light and joy to work. He truly knew how to cheer me up and make me laugh. He was such a kind person who knew how to make everyone around him smile. I miss you sprinkles <3

Nathan, when I say that you'll be missed, it's truly an understatement. You just had a way to make someone's darkest days not seem so dark. You were a ball of energy, so fun and comical, bringing so much life and laughter to every shift you worked. You were more than helpful and an asset to my shift. I will miss hearing, "Of course. I worked with Nathan at Crumbl, he was always so funny and made me smile no matter what. He always gave me the best advice, even though we have many years between us. I will miss him, my thoughts are with his family and friends.


Nate was one of the best guys I’ve ever met. He was always there for anyone and was an amazing person to have on your side. I’ll miss hearing his funny lacrosse stories and him popping in to see me at work, making a dreary shift a thousand times better. He was one of my best friends and I already miss having him around.

We cannot find words to express how devastated we are about your unimaginable loss. We watched Nathan grow up and enjoyed every interaction we had with him, whether he played along the stream, threw ball with Raegan, stopped to chat and tell us about his day, or told us his newest joke. The neighborhood lost one of its finest young men and we are profoundly affected, grieving along with you.

Sending many Condolences to the Veale Family and friends. I went to school with Nate for the last year and a half and he was the funnest most bright boy ever. He always was laughing and making jokes that would make everyone laugh. He was such a great guy and School, lacrosse, and life will never be the same without him. ❤️
