Nicholas Ryan Guyer, 21, of Malvern, passed away suddenly and peacefully on July 5th. He was a 2009 graduate of Conestoga High School and was attending Temple University, studying Construction Engineering and Management. He was known throughout his too short life for bringing laughter to all around him with his unique attitude and free spirit. Nick loved to skateboard, snow board, attend concerts, camp and cook for everyone on his camping grill. But most of all, he loved hanging with his pals and was a loyal and generous friend to many. Borrowing a quote from the movie where his name came from, “The Sure Thing” – “Nick’s your buddy. Nick’s your pal. Nick’s the kind of guy you can trust, the kind of guy you can drink a beer with, the kind of guy who doesn’t mind if you puke in his car, Nick!” Nick loved his summer construction job, finally fulfilling his dream of getting paid to build things. Ever kind hearted, he was truly helpful to both those he knew and those in need.
Nick is survived by his loving parents, Theresa and Steve Guyer of Malvern PA; 2 siblings: Austin and Alexandra (Alex); grandparents Richard and Joyce Guyer and Sadako Hardy and a large extended family of Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins who mourn him deeply.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Nick’s memory to Julianna’s Hike www.juliannahike.org and Fighting Back Scholarship Program www.fightingbacksp.org. Arrangements are with Alleva Funeral Home, Inc.
