I think of Shirl often.  She was there for me when I was being treated for breast cancer.  I remember when we were kids listening to rock music.  Shirl was a great cousin.



I still think of Shirl with fond memories.  Looking forward to seeing Shirl again in heaven.

Our sincere condolences to Shirley's family.  She was so kind to write a note in remembrance of our mother, who died in January at age 96. She was Shirley's girl scout leader long ago!  We had no idea Shirl was ill.   Kathy Case and Charlie Case

I didn't know that Shirl was ill and the sad news of her death was a shock for me when it reached me across the Atlantic. I remain grateful to her for the part she took in welcoming us former foreign exchange students at the 50th anniversary reunion with such warm and joyful kindness. In memory of her, I hope classmates will endeavor to keep in touch the way she would have wished. 
She'll be missed and my heartfelt condolences go to her family.

So sorry to hear about Shirl's  passing.  It is clear she will be missed by  the many she touched.

Shirley, you were there for me during my bout with breast cancer.  You gave me hope and prayed for me.  You were the one who gave me the strength to get through the surgeries and treatments.  We had some fun times together, going back to when we were 16.  I will miss you, your cousin, Georgie

Hi family.  It is only me again, Dede Perry, I have chatting with your sister, Bee, and she started me to remember just what type of person you were.  You were the one cousin who visited my Mom, your Aunt Janet, and made her laugh which was very touching since she is traveling the "Alzheimer's Road" and when her journey ends I know you will be there to welcome her with open arms like you did here on earth. We had such fun together in our early years, especially Girl Scouts. Your mom and my mom were a good team and so were we.
Our trip to Canada was wonderful.  
I will always remember your orange hair--you were willing to try anything once!

I so appreciated Shirley's kindness to Dave and I when we lost our daughter --she sent letters and a CD of songs that were very meaningful to us.  It was so great to be able to visit with her in January.  We are still in shock at her sudden passing.  Love and prayers to all, Dave and Velma

"Cuz" I can't believe this has happened. Although we never met in person, you became my best & most trusted friend. We shared many wonderful & not so wonderful times together. U helped me through a lot & were always there when I needed u. I loved your phone calls & especially loved u. We always ended our calls with an "I love u". U will be missed not only by me but all the people u touched. U were a wonderful friend. There will never b another one like u. As we used to say at the end of our calls "I love u!"
