She was born to Loren and Opal (Davidson) Turner in Andrew County, Missouri. Fern married Floyd Tibbles on August 10, 1957. Fern and Floyd lived in Auburn, Nebraska for 53 years. In 2015, they moved to WEL Life Assisted Living in Papillion where they lived out their remaining days near their daughters.
Fern was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd; infant daughter, Tracy; Parents, Loren and Opal; sisters, Beatrice Goff, Avis McClurg, and Beth Faires.
She is survived by daughters, Teresa (Jeff) Wilson, Tina (Murray) Richter; grandchildren, Jennifer Hill, Ryan Wilson, Madison (Scott Smith) Haugland; nieces and nephews.
