

Landen Jay Tillquist, age 20, passed away on November 23, 2025, following a courageous battle with cancer. He left this world peacefully, surrounded by the comfort and love of his family and the love of his life, Katherine.
A natural athlete with a competitive spirit, Landen’s passion for sports defined much of his life. He was a dedicated baseball player, proudly taking the field at the collegiate level for Alexandria Technical & Community College. His teammates and coaches knew him not just for his talent, but for his dedication and heart.
When he wasn’t on the diamond, Landen could usually be found enjoying the outdoors. He found great joy on the golf course and peace while fishing, hobbies that allowed him to appreciate the quiet moments of life.
Landen will be remembered for his strength, his love for his family, and the impact he made on his teammates and friends during his short but meaningful life.
He is survived by his loving parents, Nathan and Darcie Tillquist; his grandparents, Troy and Gloria Smith, and Larry and Monica Rojas; Siblings; Daylon, Tatainya, and Brendan, his aunts, Jennifer, Lindsey, Marybeth, and Courtney, and his uncle Michael and many cousins. He also leaves behind his devoted girlfriend, Katherine, who stood by his side with unwavering love and support.
A Celebration of Landen’s life will occur on December 5th at 2:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,12009 S 84th St, Papillion, NE 68046.
