Linda M. Knipp, 76, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025, just a few days shy of her 77th birthday. Born on February 17, 1948, Linda was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She was known for her kind heart, warm spirit, and unwavering dedication to her family.
Linda is survived by her brother Terry (Patty) Eastin, her two daughters, Lisa Knipp and Tona (Rick) Trask, her extended family Liz Chipp, Don Davis, Marie (Larry) Estes, and Lou Ann (Greg) Ireland, her honorary sons, Ron & Dennis Johnson and Jermany Smith, as well as her two honorary daughters, Helen Lee and Lisa Caulfield. She cherished her role as a grandmother to Michaela (Sean) Fleming, Travis Knipp, and Thomas (Macobeigh) Trask, and special friends the Clear’s, Sherman’s and the Coonce’s. She took immense pride in watching them grow. Her family was the center of her world, and she created lasting memories with them through love, laughter, and shared experiences.
An avid lover of life, Linda’s hobbies included sewing, clogging, cooking, baking, working on puzzles, reading and going to the movies with family. Her home was always filled with the delicious smells of her cooking and the joyful sound of her laughter, whether she was hosting family gatherings or quietly working on a new puzzle. She touched the lives of those around her with her creativity, kindness, and selflessness.
Linda will be dearly missed by all but her memory will live on with all who had the pleasure of meeting her.
A Visitation for Linda will be held Monday, February 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary, 441 N Washington St. Papillion, Nebraska.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 12:00 PM, at Garden Grove Cemetery in Iowa.
