Age 95
Monica was born in Berlin, Germany Dec. 23, 1925 and survived WWII. She came to the U.S. in 1950 and quickly embraced the American way of life. She died peacefully on Nov. 29, 2021 at Richmont Terrace in Bellevue, NE. Preceded in death by her parents and husband of 45 years, C. Wayne Taylor. Monica is survived by good friends in Papillion and Bellevue. Monica hosted many students from Asian countries who studied at UNO. They remember her kindness and zest for life. Monica was proud to be an American citizen. A celebration of her life will be held Dec. 6, 10:00, at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary. Masks are requested. Monica loved animals, especially dogs.
