Paul Arthur Haug

Paul was born March 23, 1940, on the family farm and was baptized on April 28, 1940, at First Lutheran Church in Papillion. Paul grew up and lived his entire life on the family farm southwest of town. Paul went to Prairie Queen school, and then graduated from Papillion High School. Paul farmed and worked in the dairy with his family. Paul raised cattle, sheep, horses, chickens and buffalo. Paul loved animals and had many cats and dogs on the farm. Paul was a self-trained master mechanic and loved working on tractors and other farm machinery. Paul was a very talented man. He could fix and repair anything and was very knowledgeable on how his farm equipment worked. Paul would eagerly and generously help out friends and neighbors with their mechanical repairs and did so with a big smile on his face.

Paul is preceded in death by Parents John & Louise Haug, Brothers: Donald & Robert, Sister: Elaine Haug-Moore, and Niece: Debra Moore-Young. He is survived by brother-in-law Robert Moore, Nephews David (Jen) Moore, Daniel (Cheri) Moore, and many great nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be Saturday October 12 at 10:00 am at Papillion Cemetery (84th & Giles). Memorials suggested to First Lutheran Church, Papillion.
