Anne met LaVere through family members and it was love at first sight. They married in December 1959 and raised 2 children.
They originally lived in Fairbury, NE and later moved to Ralston, NE where they raised their family.
Anne was involved in her community as an active member of Messiah Lutheran Church, a Girl and Boy Scout Leader, and member of Ralston Volunteer Department’s Women’s Auxiliary.
She worked as a telephone operator, for several years as a clerk at Ralston City Hall, as a bookkeeper at Ramada Inn in Omaha, and as a mortgage auditor at Commercial Federal Bank.
She was a Stephen Minister and also a Christian Clown.
Anne loved to fish. She and LaVere have fished all over Nebraska, as well as many places in Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, and Alaska.
She and her sisters were close and as adults had many adventures.
Anne is preceded in death by her Parents Wayne and Dorothea Snell, Sisters Hazel (Bill) Kilgore, Donna (Bill) Downey, Sue (George) Jeffcoat.
She is survived by her Loving Husband, LaVere Schipper, her Children, Angela (Hilton) Taylor of Omaha, Nebraska; Allen (Theresa) Schipper of Omaha, Nebraska; Granddaughter Melissa (Dave) Shively; Great-Grandchildren; Parker and Savannah, all of Charlotte, North Carolina; Sister, Betty Butler of Fairbury, Nebraska; Sister-in-law, Geraldine (Larry) Smith of Beatrice, Nebraska; and several Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces, and Great-Nephews.
