Donna Kay Godwin, 53, of Paris, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, at University Hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10th, at Hopewell Cemetery. Donna, the daughter of William & Patsy Ruth Thweatt Godwin, was born May 28, 1963, in Dallas. She attended Paris High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Charlie Godwin, a nephew, Jason Stover and two nieces, Landry Godwin and Mandi Everett. Donna was the glue that held her family together and will be greatly missed by her siblings who survive, Brandon Godwin, Shauna Godwin, Vernon Godwin & wife Callie, Geneva Tucker, James Godwin & wife Tammy, Gayla Fagan, Michelle Stover & husband L. J., Sue Godwin, Mike Godwin & wife Pam, Lanita Rosenbaum & husband Wes and Pamela Babbitt & husband Randy. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
