

Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with burial following in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Miller, the daughter of Melvin Oates & Marion Faye Miller Oates, was born June 4, 1946, in Paris. She graduated from Paris High School. Dorothy worked for a short period of time at the City of Paris Water Department before beginning a career with Merico that spanned more than 35 years before her retirement. She and her husband, Ed, enjoyed camping and the outdoors. While still living in Paris she attended His Place Fellowship.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Earl “Ed” Miller whom she married on July 3, 1964, building 55 years of family and memoires before his death on Jan. 13, 2020. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mary Louise Majors, and her twin sister, Ima Dell Catrina.
Survivors include two children, Michael Miller and Marsha Jump, grandchildren, Aaron Miller, Mallory McDade, Samantha Jump, Ender Jump, Benjamin Jump, and Arwen Jump and great grandchildren, Nate Miller and Joel Miller along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
