So sorry to hear about Mr. Henry. Your Dad was such a wonderful person! He always had a smile on his face. And so kind spoken. I have so many great memories from my childhood of all of you. I remember Mr. Henry teaching me how to milk his goat named Nanny. How he loved goat milk. He was such a kind man. God bless you all and comfort you in this sad time. Alisa

Stella and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember your Dad always had a smile and so did your Mom. One memory stands out. We came to Little Roy’s birthday party that was upstairs over the print shop. God Bless you all during these difficult times.
Love you, Dianna Edwards

I was thankful that I had the opportunity to thank both your parents of their service in the bus ministry at Ramseur several years ago. Their devotion to picking up children, and I was one of them, to take to church had an eternal impact. They were both precious people. We’ve done business with your Dad for years, such a kind, gentle man with a sweet smile. He is missed in this community, may the Lord bless you with comfort and peace during this time of sadness. May you hold dear the sweet memories you have.

When I would return to Paris after I went to college their print shop was one of my first visit each time I returned. I met him when we were both members of the Forest Presbyterian Church while in high school. He was a wonderful friend and a great softball player for that church team. So was Bobbie an outstanding friend when we were visiting. Peace from San Antonio.

Eddie was a friend to many people, including me; he was a gentle giant. I remember him from our PHS days and though he was a year ahead of me it didn't matter, any time we met in the halls he would stop and take time to make me laugh! He was a big guy, well over 6 feet tall and I (barely 5 feet tall) remember thinking many times, how nice it was for him to be so caring of others, when with his size he could have been sooo different! Yes, he chose to be a friend to anyone who needed a friend and my prayer is for his family to take some comfort in knowing that his many friends loved him too! My sincerest condolences to you all. Durwood Foote, PHS 1955.
