

Mr. Dickson served with the Navy stationed out of San Diego and Long Beach California from 1960 thru 1964. He was preceded in death by a brother Alvin Lee Dickson.
Mr. Dickson retired from Red River Army Depot in Hooks, TX in March of 1997. With RRAD he was involved with civil service in the Persian Gulf War, operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm in Iraq and worked as an electrician with machinery systems. He received many Recognition Certificates for his support and dedication during Operation Desert Shield in 1991. Bob also spent time in Germany during his time with RRAD.
Bob was an avid bowler with many high scores bowled during his lifetime, he was a member of bowling leagues and attended competitions in and around the Paris, Texas area. He also loved fishing, hiking, long distance cycling, another one of his hobbies included photography and gardening.
He is survived by 2 sisters Carol Thompson of Wann, OK and Patrice Hinsley of Honey Grove, TX, and brothers-in-law Sonny and Donald, a niece Stephanie West and nephews, Joe Aaron and Jayson Hinsley.
