Stacey Michelle "Missy" Kennedy

Stacey Michelle “Missy” Kennedy, 50, of Reno, passed away Tuesday, June 06, 2017, at her home. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 8th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Tatum officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery at Cunningham. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Missy was born March 25, 1967, in Paris. She graduated from Paris High School in 1985, and received her Bachelor’s Degree from North Texas State University. She worked at Paris Regional Medical Center for a number of years and was still employed at the hospital at the time of her death. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gaynell Ottinger, a grandparents, Paul Thrasher and Elmer & Robbie York, and a great grandmother, Sarah Thrasher. Survivors include her husband Heath Kennedy, two children whom she loved very much and were the light of her life, Laytner Kennedy of Paris & fiancé Brittanee Pevey of Honey Grove and Layker Kennedy of the home, a sister, Paige Throgmorton & husband Quay of Commerce, her step-father, Jerry Ottinger of Hagansport, her father, Mickey York of Commerce, an aunt, Kay Voight of Port Naches, father-in-law & mother-in-law, Bobby & Shelby Kennedy of Cunningham, grandmother, Ruth Ottinger of Hagansport, brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Jeff & Cindy Kennedy of Powderly, nephews & nieces, Garrett Kennedy & wife Crystal of Paris, Zach Kennedy of Fairfield, Evan Throgmorton of Commerce, Asa Kennedy of Powderly and Taylor Kennedy of Powderly along with a host of friends.
