Stella Lorene Ramsey

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 2nd at Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom with Judd Ramsey officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery thirty minutes prior to the service.

Mrs. Ramsey, the daughter of Revis Morris & Edith Hill Morris, was born May 19, 1937, in Lamar County, TX.

Lorene grew up in Petty and graduated from West Lamar High School. Her career with the Campbell Soup Company spanned 22 years before her retirement. She was a dedicated homemaker, a devoted Christian, and attended Fellowship Baptist Church in Blossom.

Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Scott Morris, James Morris, and Bruce Morris and one sister, Margie Glover.

Survivors include two sons, Dan Ramsey & wife Sharon of Blossom and Tommy Ramsey & wife Deanna of Blossom, five grandchildren, Teri Escobedo & husband David of Paris, BJ Ramsey & wife Brittany of Paris, Judd Ramsey & wife Paige of Tyler, Kray Ramsey of Reno, and Tanner Beard & wife Lauren of Blossom, ten great grandchildren, and one sister, Bernice Newman & husband Darrell of Ft. Worth along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.

The family would like to extend appreciation to the staff at Heritage House of Paris, Platinum Hospice, and a special caregiver, Melissa Finch, for the care and attention given to their loved one.
