W. D. Wynn

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 2:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26th at the Evergreen Chapel of Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Doug Holt officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service.

Mr. Wynn, the son of S. D. Wynn & Ima Jean Jones Wynn, was born April 1, 1950, in Paris, TX. He attended Lamar County Schools. In 1968, he joined the United States Navy, being honorably discharged in 1970. W. D. was a lifelong truck driver with a career that spanned many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Patsy Wynn, on Nov. 2, 2024, two sons, Christopher Wynn and Wesley Buster, and a brother, Gregory Wynn.

Survivors include two children, Laura Williams & husband Ricky and Sonny Sikes & wife Sheila, grandchildren, Jake Wynn, Kaylee Buster, Heather LaRue & husband Daniel, Matthew Sikes & wife Cheryl, Brittany Davidson, Angel Davidson, and Joshua Williams & wife Holly, great grandchildren, Lawson and Blakely LaRue, Chris Pina & wife Leslie, and Lyla Reed, great great grandchildren, Selini and Johnse, a sister, Debbie Jones, and a sister-in-law, Girttie Stephens along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
