My condolences to all the people who knew and loved Mona. 
Mona I still can't believe this is happening we had so many plans' things you wanted to do and places you wanted to go.  I don't know what I'll do without you, you have always been a big part of my life and my family as well. you were a true friend to me we have so many memories, your weekend stay over at my house, lol. watching sad movies, our out-of-town road trips, our circle k soda trips. doing our shopping together. Mona, I thank you so much for being a great auntie to my children, they all love you very much. lol. I remember the look on your face when Issac said your name for the first time oh you were so happy. Mona, you weren't blessed with children of your own, but you were given the next best gift and that was you helping raise so many children and making a great impact in so many children's lives and some who are now adults with their own children now, you will always be remembered as AUNTIE MONA by so many.  This is so hard sending you on your journey after 40+ years of a great friendship we had and now having to start a life without you in it. Mona, I know your reunite with your mom and brother once again and you are truly happy with them.  Mona give my boys (OJ & Anthony) a big hug for me and watch over them until I make my journey and I can be there with them, let them know I love and Miss them so much. Mona be with me and help give me the strength to send you off right.  Mona I will miss your big hugs, seeing your smile and hearing your laugh. Auntie, 
I don't know how to begin this life without you. You promised me you would be here for a long time, that you wouldn't leave me in the rain. Auntie you stepped in when I lost my momma, you became my lighthouse and helped me and auntie De move along, you also picked up grandmas' spirit, days you spent at the house with her were memories we will always have funny times and never a dull moment. We talked, laughed and cried about all the things in this life that were messed up. Talked about how my house was once the pad as they call it, where family gathered, before I lived there, Grandma Sharon did and she told me about life as it played out, told me that she loved me very much and I told her I couldn't imagine my life without her or auntie De and granny goose she said, Nope I got you cupcake! Now here I am 6 days until we see you off to that new home that our mommas went to get ready, I love you, I know you knew that I said it every time I seen you. My childhood to my adulthood you have been here through my good and bad as I have been. Until we see you again auntie know that WE LOVE YOU!
