Three things Jack loved more than anything in the world, his wife of 29 years, his kids, and his love for the United States Military. If you sat down to talk with him, chances were you'd be discussing one of those three topics. On April 6, 2017 my Dad passed away after a very short battle with Cancer.
Jack Lee Wagner, 68, Earp Ca, passed away at his home with family at his side on 6 April 2017. Born on 1 October 1948 Jack spent his childhood growing up in Buckstown, Pennsylvania. After graduating high school, he began working as a civilian for the United States Navy, but soon enlisted into the Navy during the height of the Vietnam War. He was known as the Mayor of Buckstown and called "Mayor" by his friends. He went by many names and titles throughout life; Jack, Petty Officer, Mayor, son, brother, and uncle. But he was especially proud of being called a husband and a father. For those who knew Jack, they experienced his witty sense of humor, always smiling face, and passion for NASCAR, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and watching the Food Network. He is survived by his wife of 29 years Chrissy, his son Daniel, his Daughter Robin, his sisters Barb and Kathy, his Brother Jerry, and many nieces and nephews. He was filled with joy when he was able to become Pappy Jack to Riot, Rebel, Jurni, and Savana and had a very true love for his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents Edward and Janet Jeter, Lee Wagner, and Leah Cecil, sister Lisa, and nephew Jeremy. Services will be held at the Parker VFW Post 7061 at 516 Hopi Drive on 6 May 2017 at 11 am.
