Levi Tom Chavez

In Levi’s early years he traveled & rodeoed. He Loved life and believed that you should live every moment to the fullest. When Levi put his mind to something he always accomplished it.

After completing his apprenticeship in the union he became a heavy equipment operator a job in which he loved.

Levi worked for Holsom for 18 years as a supervisor & heavy equipment operator. On his off time his love for family brought him back to “The Havasu Landing” where he constructed what he called “ Our Compound” A place he so proudly called our home. He loved the slow paced friendly atmosphere & most of all his family.

Levi is the son to the late David Chavez, Rose Mary Velarde and Abraham Velarde. Husband to Debbie Vargas Chavez. Father to Kassie Chavez, Lisa Chavez, Jasmyn Chavez and Daryn Plumage. Papa to Kieran Chavez. Brother to Christal Galaviz, Steven Velarde, Abraham Velarde, Sheridan Silversmith, Lena Silversmith, April Begay and Terrance Silversmith. Grandson to the late Dwight Lomayesva Sr., the late Mary Lomayesva and the late Margret Chavez.

Beloved family member to many aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends.
