Mike You Will Truly Be Missed. You Enriched Everybody’s Life That Had The Pleasure To Know You. You Have Been Such And Inspiration To A lot Of People Of All Ages .You Will Never Be Forgotten. You Also Made Getting A Haircut Fun Especially Up At The Petrified Inn With Your Stories And Your Humor.  RIP MIKE

I met Mike in 2005 around the time I became a Charter Member of the VFW Men's Auxiliary Post 7061. Mike was always a great guy. A friendly, natural leader. I enjoyed getting my hair cut by him on those occasional days that he would show up to help out at the Barber Shop.

He was a Veteran who was always thought about Veterans and went out of his way to help fellow Veterans, like me.  He will be missed by his  his fellow Veterans.  Melva and I will say a prayer for Mike and his family.

Rest In Peace Mike Thomas.  I remember growing up that my father John S. Hill, Sr., loved going to get his hair cut from Mike every other Saturday.  Especially as he got older; it was one of his favorite things he looked forward to.  He loved going so he and Mike could talk about hunting.  Rest In Peace.
