The one thing I remember most about my mama was how independent and how I wanted to grow up just like her. She was the greatest person I know and a very proud mom, auntie, daughter, and greatest grandma ever. She had her own way of doing things especially when she never took no for an answer. If y’all told her no then that just meant watch out cause she did not hesitate to call over and over again or drive down to ur office to ask y. My deepest regret was leaving her and moving to California and taking away the two greatest gifts who gave her life joy. But she did come to visit us many times and I haven’t been to do the same as often but man did she ever spoil those two beautiful grandchildren she had. She had an amazing sense of humor no matter how rough it got she always laughed! I miss u mommy everyday and those beautiful girls have grown up to be amazing young women. We raised em right mom. Now Rest In Peace cause we will be ok now. I love you and until we meet again with our creator love always ur one and only DAUGHTER XOXOXO 😘🥰💋💋😇

My favorite memory of my grandmother Mitzi Swick, was her teaching me to tie my shoes and when my mother,father,sister, and i moved to California when she would visit us and even though she knew she didn't have to she would buy us gifts and CD's of her favorite country artist Carrie Underwood.  She wasn't really a cranky lady to be honest she just didn't understand some parts of the new growing population and what they believed in. I can already feel her just contradicting President Trump and his ways just because that's the way she was. She was kind hearted and always was smiling especially around her family. She would play it tough and wouldn't let anyone really know how she was feeling or if she was feeling any pain. Even during her last days on this earth she still showed the fighter she had deep within her. She would fight leaving but I told her "Grandma we'll be okay. You can move on now." We all love her deeply and just didn't want her to have to suffer for us anymore. It was her turn to feel peace to remember those great moments she lived and know her family has finally left the nest to go onto greater things and live up to her name just as much as she did.
