Barbara M Balderson

She was born December 8, 1942 in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter to the late Daniel Talbott and Pearl McIntyre Talbott.

Barbara enjoyed a brief stent in nursing, she found her greatest joy and fulfillment in being a homemaker. She wholeheartedly dedicated herself to her family. Her passion was playing golf, allowing her to spend time with friends and be a member of Worthington Sr. Golf League. She enjoyed basket weaving and created many beautiful baskets for her loved ones. She also found great delight in playing Bingo with friends, her laughter and excitement lighting up the room. Above all else, she cherished time spent with her family, where her love and presence will be remembered and deeply missed.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Thomas Balderson; son, Blair Buckley of Belpre, OH; daughters, Angela (Jimmie) Keith of Parkersburg, WV, Donna Wolfe of Vienna, WV, Lori Ide of Parkersburg, WV ; brother, Donald Talbot; grandchildren, Josey (Jennifer) VanMeter, Tommy (Anna) Keith, Aaron Wolfe, Dustin (Jamie) Wolfe, Dara (Sonny) Ide; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Henry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and three brothers.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Saturday March 8, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the funeral home.
