She was born August 27, 1931, in Bristol, WV a daughter to the late Lyde and Sarah Simons. She retired from Sears after many years of service, and she attended Licking Valley Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Simons, and a sister Elsie Utt.
She is survived by her husband, Carroll Cunningham, daughter, Teresa Sharrard (Dan) of Louisville, OH, brother, Delbert Simons, grandchildren, Tobias Barrick, Anjanette Barrick, and Rachel Barrick, one great grandson, Isaiah Barrick-Hart, along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Service will be Wed., February 26, 2014, 1 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Gus Andrews officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Tues., February 25, 2014, from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
