Colter James Ross

With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the birth and passing of our beloved son, Colter James Ross, who was born in the arms of angels on April 9, 2026, at O'Bleness Hospital in Athens, OH. Though his time with us was brief, Colter's presence brought a light and love that will shine in our hearts forever. We find comfort in our faith, knowing that God has cradled him safely in His arms.

From the moment we first dreamed of him, Colter was deeply cherished. His tiny life, though short, left an everlasting imprint on our souls. He will always be our son- forever loved, forever remembered, and forever part of our family.

Colter is lovingly remembered by his parents, Austin and Kylie Ross; his big brother, Cameron Ross; his grandparents, Rick and Laura Ross, Travis and Becky Alloway, Matt and Michelle Moore; his aunts and uncles, Cassidy (Brady) Gains, Katey Alloway, Megan Ross, (Claytin), Ryan Ross (Emmi), Marley and Amelia Edman-Moore; and his cousins, Greyson and Everett Gains.

"For this child we prayed; and the Lord has granted the desires of our hearts." 1 Samuel 1:27

Though our arms are empty, our hearts are full. Held for a moment, loved for a lifetime, Colter will remain, forever in God's light and in our hearts.

Services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 4:00 pm at Hickory Hill Church of Christ, 49790 Hickory Hill, Reedsville, OH 45772.
