Delma A. Lane, 79, of Canal Winchester, OH, formerly of Parkersburg, WV went to be with Jesus on April 11, 2013. Born on August 24, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Nathan & Amy (Jones) Whitehair of Wirt Co, WV.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Vienna, WV. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens, bird watching, home decorating, crafts, reading, and listening to country music. She especially loved playing school with her youngest granddaughter Jessie and enjoyed the company of her cat Frannie.
She will be missed by her children A. Frank Lane, III (Terri), Deborah Grubb, Kimberly Thompson (Tom), and Amy Mahoney all of Parkersburg, and Frederic Lane (Jackie) of Newark, OH; 12 grandchildren: Michelle, Stephanie, Carrie, Amanda, Jillian, Heather, Whitney, Kyle, Karissa, Jessica, Sarah & Jarod and five great grandchildren: Anna, Alex, Oliver, Julia & Ella.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 40 years Alpheus F. (Blue) Lane, Jr and grandson, Zachary Medley.
