
He was born Oct. 24, 1934 in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late Lloyd and Stella Blosser. He worked at O’Ames, American Viscoe FMC, and Voshel Furniture. He enjoyed reading comic books, auctions, playing his guitar, taking his family on trips as well as family and friend get-togethers. He was a hard-working man, a great husband and wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He and Helen showed their family what a long marriage and love was all about.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen Vaughn Blosser; seven children, Cynthia (Raymond) Barker, Diana (Robert) Wright, Sandra Blosser, Loretta (Bob) Enoch, Patrick (Sherry) Blosser, Carolyn (Sonny) Allen, and David (Rosie) Blosser; fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several sisters and brothers-in-law; several nieces and nephews; and many longtime friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Angela Barker Allagas; two grandsons, Ted Pittaway and Baby Boy Blosser; six brothers and two sisters.
Service will be 12:00 p.m. Wed., February 19, 2014, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be prior to the service on Wed. from 10am-noon at the funeral home.
