Ida Mae Wolfe, 81, of Williamstown, WV, transitioned to be with our Lord on Sunday, December 13, 2020. She was born December 31, 1938 in Parkersburg, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Reva (Anderson) Williams, sister Linda Williams, son Barry James Wolfe, son Steve Wolfe, and son Dave Wolfe.
She is survived by her husband Jim Wolfe. She was a proud homemaker, happily married for 62 years since June 20, 1958. Also surviving her are her brother John (Brenda) Williams, sister-in-law Ruth (Ed) Berry, daughter-in-law Cheryl Eaton, son Tim (Robbi) Wolfe, daughter Dee (Norris) Jones, daughter-in-law Val Wolfe, and daughter Mary Beth (Kelly) Shultz. Her grandchildren include Gelina Peggs, Ryan (Tara) Wolfe, Caycee Wolfe, Makala Wolfe, Josh (Emily) Wolfe, Jared Wolfe, Melissa (Chris) Taylor, Nathan Walters, Michael Walters, Barry Michael (Haley) Wolfe, Ben (Kenzie) Wolfe, Joel Wolfe, and Zoe Bookman. There are numerous great and great-great grandchildren whom she also loved dearly.
She lived a rich and full life filled with family and friends. Her greatest legacy includes teaching all to love unconditionally. She was a devout Christian, full of prayer and service, in worship with singing and playing piano. There are so many memories from Marrtown, Belleville, Wadesville, Williamstown, and of course the family campground at the confluence of the Hughes and Little Kanawha Rivers.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Darren Alkire officiating. Visitation will be 9 AM to 11 AM at the funeral home prior to service.
