Mabel was born September 21, 1925 in Wood County to Elsworth and Georgia {Higgenbottom} Scott.
She was a homemaker and attended the Landmark Baptist Church. Mabel was funny, whitty and loved her family.
Mabel will be deeply missed by her son, Eric (Pat) Dowler of Davisville, daughters, Paulette Lemon of Baton Rouge, LA, Rhonda (Roger) Lynch of Parkersburg, Connie Dowler of Baton Rouge, LA, Erica Dowler of Parkersburg and several grandchildren.
Mabel was preceded in death by her parents and sister Lavada Crook.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will be Friday, May 12, 2017 at 12 noon with Pastor Michael Lamb officiating at Landmark Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service from 11-12 also at the church.
