Robert L Rhodes

Robert Lee Rhodes, 75, of Parkersburg, passed away surounded by his family and friends. He was born on June 29, 1941 to Mildred (Sees) and the late Ratus Rhodes. He was a past Commander of the American Legion Post 15 and a member of the VFW 1212 of Parkersburg.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann; his three daughters: Stephanie (Jeffrey) Walls of Vienna, West Virginia; Anna (White) Ebersole of Pomeroy, Ohio; and Corinna Thomas (Jim) of Kenna, West Virginia; two step daughters: Jennifer Barker (Brian) of Zanesville, Ohio; Julia Ryan(Mike), of McConnville, Ohio; Grandkids: Adam and Jeffrey Walls of Vienna, West Virginia; Elisa and Selina Grady of Zanesville, Ohio; Brandon, Katie, and Jackie Barker, of Zanesville, Ohio; Courtnie (Paul) Morton of Ada, Ohio; Brittany (Steven) Wilson of Caldwell, Ohio; Jimmy, Cheyenne, and Dharma Thomas of Kenna, West Virginia;Robbie Gildow of Marietta, Ohio and Jayden White of Pomeroy, Ohio, sister Celia (Ann) Glover of Parkersburg, West Virginia; brother Rhondo(Pam) of Walker, West Virginia; and life long friends Bob and Carolyn Gildow of Marietta, Ohio.

He is proceeded in death by his father, his first wife Sharon (Marks), his daughter Rhonda Sue, and nephew Doug Glover.

Services will be Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Sunset Memorial Gardens with full military rites by the American Legion Post 15, and will be officiated by Pastor Randy VanFossen. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 6--8 and 1 hour before services.
