Ruby E. Knotts

She was born Nov. 23, 1919, in Belleville, WV a daughter to the late Frank G. and Laura M. Hale. She worked at Viscos, then later owned and operated Knott’s Beauty Salon. She was a member of Belpre Nazarene Church where throughout the years she served as Adult Sunday School Teacher, Church Treasurer, President of the Missionary Society, and a member of the Prime Timers.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Walter Dale Knotts, brother, Charles Hale, sister, Wilma Davis, infant son Danny, and nephew, James Heatherly.

She is survived by her son, Gene C. Knotts (Ellen) of Little Hocking, OH, daughters, Pamela J. Wilfong of Belpre, OH, and Karen I. Radabaugh (Gary) of Belpre, OH, grandchildren, Gina McDaniel (Mike) of Belpre, Josh Reynolds of Belpre, Todd Knotts (Desta) of Little Hocking, OH, and Sarah Sivapatham (Thinesh) of Minneapolis, MN, and great grandchildren, Blake and Dakota McDaniel.

Service will be Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, 2:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Rexroad officiating and Rev. Will Neff ministering in song. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be Monday, from noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
