He was born October 4, 1979 in Parkersburg, WV, a son of Florence Carpenter and the late Terry Carpenter.
Shane loved working at Emerson Bowling Lanes and made many strong and lasting friendships with a company that treated him like family. He enjoyed watching WWE wrestling and spending time with his family, especially, his niece and nephews, Jadon, Landyn, and Shaylnn Carpenter. He will be deeply missed.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his mother, Florence Byers; brothers, Chris (Laura) Carpenter, Robin (Samantha) Carpenter, Timmy Carpenter, Matt (Amanda Brundage) Carpenter; and sister, Loretta (Michael) Reesman.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents.
There will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at Emerson Bowling Lanes.
