Stephen Nutter, age 83, of Parkersburg passed away on 1/26/2025. He was survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia (Wolfe) Nutter and his children Stephen (Brenda) Nutter and Amy (Nutter) Deem. He also was survived by his grandchildren. Tessa (Michael) Nutter Perkins, Ethan, Caleb, and Derek (Abbey) Nutter. His living niece and nephew are Shelley (Gary) Ransbottom and Rick Nutter. He was preceeded in death by his parents Robert and Claire (Laird) Nutter and also his brother Roland (Jeanetta) Nutter and Sue (Jim) Ransbottom. Steve was a truck driver for many years and spent his retirement working on the toll bridge for 19 years. He was born into, and had been a member at, Parkersburg First Church of the Nazarene where he sat under the leadership of Pastors Shane and Keith Hostutler. He was a Christian by faith. Pastor Shane Hostutler will assist with arrangements. A private service will be held for the family in the spring. The family has requested no flowers be sent. The family would like to thank the staff at Amedysis for their wonderful care during such a difficult time.
