Aaron was born in Vancouver on April 28, 1974 to Alan and Veronica (Schram) Knutson. School wasn’t his favourite place but the lake at the bottom of our road sure was. He loved water and boats took his Bronze Sail Level IV in his teens and dreamed of living in his own boat. He also loved computers, gaming, driving fast (despite our admonitions), and playing his Korg synthesizer, but most of all he loved his kids, daughter Karli (age 11) and son Brody (age (9). He was strong minded from an early age, fiercely independent and private. A man of few words he was not one to ask for help or talk too much about what was happening in his life.
He worked many years in retail paint in Kamloops, Nanaimo, Victoria, Courtenay and Campbell River. He also enjoyed working at Grey River Netting until he retrained and got his HCA Certificate.
We shall all miss him; his father Alan, his mother, Veronica “Roni”, his brother Alfred, his grandmother Margaret “Rita” Schram, uncles and aunts, Martha and Bill Gazey, Ken and Bonnie Knutson, Beverly Elving and Philip and Yvonne Schram, not to mention all his cousins. He shall be especially missed by his two children, Karli and Brody. He is survived by his ex-wife Tami (Mandseth) Knutson.
Pre-deceased by his grandfather, Philip Sylvester Schram, his grandfather and grandmother, Alfred and Betty Knutson, his uncle Alexander Schram and his uncle David Elving.
No service but a private family memorial will be held at a later date.
