The Hero of Canada passed away on July 2, 2012 surrounded by his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 47 years Joanne, son Tim (Kristi) Diack, grandchildren Alexandra, Jack, and Gianni, daughter Kimberley (Eric) Nelson, special friends Doug Bradie and Joan Wiese, and his extended family and friends in Qualicum Beach and Winnipeg.
