On May 6, Ann Molloy, age 72, of Parksville, BC passed away unexpectedly of a myocardial infarction. Beloved wife to Barry MacLennan, loving mother to Kathleen Davis and Meaghan Molloy (Matt Thompson), and step-mother to Tory Feyko (Jay) and Julie MacLennan (Dominic Chagnon). Proud and devoted grandmother to Zoe, Fiona, Cole, Dane, Paige, Evelyne, and Madeleine. Ann was predeceased by Brian Molloy in 1987. She is survived by her sister, Jane Coombe (Wayne), her niece, Allison Chaput (Jeff) and nephew, Matthew Coombe (Kelli), and her great-nieces Sophie, Elsa, and Madison.
Ann was full of love and generosity for her small family and adored by all who were fortunate to know her. She was brilliant and had a tremendous sense of wit and humour, traits she nourished by being a voracious reader and whiz at cryptic crosswords. Pragmatic, organized and orderly, she had an exceptional ability to get the job done, no matter the challenges or hardships in her way. Elegant, an epicure and lover of classical music and French expressionist art, Ann loved her time living in Paris and many return trips to Provençe and Normandy. She will be missed intensely.
Private internment to be held at Yates Memorial Services. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the charity of your choice.
