I was sad to learn of Barry's passing.  I worked for City of Edmonton and remember him as a cheerful and pleasant person to work with.

Rita, I don't know if you remember me but I was a friend of Barry's back in high school. Seeing his obit today has really set me back. I'd like to offer you my sincerest condolences. I hadn't seen Barry for years but today I'm looking back fondly on our high school years. Rest in Peace old McNally buddy.

Dear Rita .. I worked with Barry at the River Valley Outdoor Centre  (R.V.O.C. )and so enjoyed getting to know him ,,  I was the reception clerk and had the early shift,.7'30 . . and  Barry would always come from his basement office to give me  morning greetings .. He seemed like he always had time for all of us who worked there . May your wonderful memories and  your faith help to heal the sadness that you feel in your heart now . Barry was the first friend I made when I came to Edmonton.We worked together a long time. He was a guest at my wedding. I will miss him.

Rita I was saddened to hear about Barry, I know lives took us in separate directions but I remember the many years that he and I worked together first in the districts and then in at the muttart? We shared many a laugh together . We had actually just connected on Facebook . He will be missed! Our deepest condolences.

I was saddened to hear the news of Barry's passing.  I worked with Barry for many years at the Muttart Conservatory and knew him as a kind, generous man. It's been many years as well since we last worked together but it seems like yesterday.  I have so many good memories of the fun we had as a staff.  I know Barry was well-liked and for me personally I enjoyed his sense of humor and his dedication to his job. Please accept my condolences and prayers.  I know he will be very much missed by his family and friends.
