Dale held pastoral charges in Coranach and Yellow Grass, Saskatchewan before moving to British Columbia in 1970 where he ministered in Burnaby, Prince George, and Tsawwassen. A deep commitment to social justice ran through both his ministry and his politics, shaping the way he lived and served others throughout his life. He retired to Parksville in 1998.
In retirement, Dale was an avid woodworker and gardener.
Dale is survived by his loving wife Marlene, his children Sharon and David and his grandchildren Michelle, Jacopo Charles and Anita.
A memorial service will be held at St. Columba Presbyterian Church, 921 Wembley Road, Parksville BC on Saturday, August 22 at 11 am.
