My heart goes out to all of you for the loss of your Mom and Dad so close together.  My great memories of swim club days fondly include Mr. & Mrs. Culpepper.  We always stopped when we met to have a few laughs about those days and what a great time we all had.

Brent, Cheryl and Darrin,
We have only just become aware of your loss, and although you probably don't remember us, we all remember your Mom and Dad's kindness to us.
My late husband worked with Earl on BC Ferries and along with Gay, we enjoyed warm visits in their home on Rock City Road.
None of us have forgotten how Earl and Gay 'traded' cars with us in 1979 - Earl's idea-their big station wagon - to enable us to enjoy a camping holiday with extended family from overseas in 1979.
Their love for each other and for their family, along with their many kindnesses to all who knew them,will live on.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Ray and I offer our condolences to the family of Earl and Gaye. We were saddened to learn of the loss of this wonderful twosome. We got to know them through various Probus social occasions (many which they organized) and Earl through the Hikers. They were great role models for how to engage in life. We know their spirits will comfort, guide and sustain the family that they loved so dearly.

What a happy couple.  True role models for their children and grandchildren.  May the many happy memories you have shared as a family bring a smile to your face and warm your heart when you need it most.  How fitting they should both depart this world within days of each other ... a true testament of their love.....everlasting!

Brent, Cheryl And Darrin......I just learned about the passing of your mom and dad and  wanted to let you know how sorry I am. I realize it's been a long time since any of us have spoken and a number of years (maybe 10) since I saw your parents last but I have such fond memories of them, and my mom (Hedi) of course loved them both dearly. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I read the obit, and you're right, what an amazing love story!

What a beautiful couple..inside and out...Gaye and Earl were kind and gentle people who welcomed everyone into their lives.  Will remember the outings they organized with fond memories.  Our deepest sympathy to the family.

My condolences to the family of Earl and Gaye. Sharing time with them was a joy and privilege while we hiked (Earl) and traveled together (both Gaye and Earl) on the many trips that they organized for Probus. I know my pictures from Lund got there too late, but I hope you will enjoy them. My written appreciation was just a validation of my verbal appreciation already expressed many times.  Their love of family and each other was always evident. I am glad they are quickly together again.

Please accept our most sincere condolences on your loss. Gaye and Earl were great stalwarts of the Lantzville Probus Club and their presence will be severely missed. Trevor is especially grateful for all the support Earl provided when he had the privilege of serving as the club's president.

We loved being with Earle & Gaye. Their love of life & each other was contagious. We were part of a number of Probus activities that they organized. We had so many laughs & good times together. Lots of good memories for all of us. Lavern & Frank

Our sincere condolences to the Culpepper Family.  Gaye and Earl have left us with so many fun and happy memories, from the overnight Probus excursions to their famous theme parties.  They will be greatly missed.

Our deepest sympathy to the family of Earl and Gaye.  We are so sad to have lost such charming and interesting friends.  Our memories include several Probus excursions to Uculet, Quadra and Savory.  We can still see Earl and Gaye enjoying dancing at the Laughing Oyster and enjoying their Valentine's Day crab feast at Uclulet.  We will miss such beautiful close friends and it seems like we picked their apples and had tea with them just yesterday.

Our prayers go out to all the family and our love to a wonderful loving couple who are now together in peace and comfort.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family of Earl and Gaye. Earl and Gaye were great friends of ours and our Lantzville Probus Group. They organized several wonderful excursions for us and they were great fun to be around. They loved to travel and meet people from around the world.  They are and will be greatly missed, but we are comforted that they are still together in love.  They loved their family so very much and were very proud of all of you.

To the Culpepper family . . .

Larry and I feel such sadness for the beautiful friends we have lost.  We feel a certain peacefulness that neither are suffering anymore and are together in eternity.  We loved them so much.  We lost such treasured friends but are left with so many happy memories.  We had such great fun with both of them.
