I had been friends with Howard since the 1970's.  We reconnected when we bought a house off him in Parksville as an investment. Since then I've called him every year on is birthday. When I called today and found his line disconnected and his cel as well. I went online to see if he had a new phone number and was so sad to see he had passed away. Howard was very kind.  When I was a single mother barely making it, he sent John Cunningham (Chooch) over to my house in Langley with a case of Salmon for  me and the boys. We sure need that help at that time.  I don't know how he knew as he lived in Parksville. Thank you Howard, RIP my friend. My condolences to the Family.
