Jacqueline Joan Jory

Leaving behind her 7 children Dirk, Debbie and Randy, Dehran and Lisa, Dawn and Dave. Grandchildren Grace and Rob, Kai, Dorothy and Luke, Laine and Tim, Crystal, Garrett and Chrystal, Sarah and Brennen, and Cody and Carly, Jess and Owen. Her great grandchildren Savannah and Aubrey, Maverick, Lizzy and Mikey and Owen. Great great grandchildren Bear and Everett. Predeceased by her youngest son Devon, her husband Bob, her beautiful granddaughter Deanne and two precious great great granddaughters Violet and Luna. Her brothers Doug and Ross and her sister Shirley.

Born in Schreiber Ontario in 1933 is where her life began. She met and married our dad August 14, 1952. She was a switchboard operator and Dad was in the RCAF. Together they travelled to Europe, the USA and Canada. After dad retired from the RCAF they lived in Thunder Bay Ontario and Calgary before settling on Vancouver Island. They bought some land to raise their family and build a house. And this strong woman helped build this house along side our dad. She did it all from mixing cement, building walls , painting all awhile raising 7 kids. These are our special memories . They sold their house and moved to the Peace River Region and operated a crop spraying business. They came back to the Island and retired in Comox.

Mom was always there for us and had her own personal bond with all the grandchildren and loved them to pieces 💜We are all going to miss you Mom 💜We love you ! We would like to thank all her extended family and friends for reaching out to her while she was in hospital and hospice 💜Kathy Squires you are the true meaning of a friend and family. Mom loved you and we do too💜Brian Barns thank you so much for your visits, you and Ruth will always hold a special place in her heart. We would also like to thank the Courtney Hospice for everything you did for our Mom 💜The professionalism and daily care you gave her , was like she was your mom too💜Mom your the strongest woman I know and you fought this hard, but it was time to let go and be with the angels, Your loving family
