Lars Herman Elias Myhres

He was born March 23,1972 to Leon and Pearl Myhres joining his siblings Larry, Randi and Tammie and then a recently found brother, Peter Grant in 2018. He is predeceased by his father, Leon Myhres in 2020.

Lars was an active happy child who participated in many sports and 4H activities. At a very early age he excelled on the dance floor, much to the dismay of his older brother Larry.

He took great pride in his work as a floor layer and many homes and businesses reflect that. He took many up-and-coming floor layers under his wing, ensuring their work met Lars’s high standards and who became excellent tradesmen themselves in the process.

One of his greatest life joys was a day at the Arrowsmith Golf course. He was an avid golfer who made many friends during these games and would often help new golfers improve their game

Lars always chose to work hard, play hard and to keep dancing.

Loved and never forgotten by his mother Pearl, brothers Larry (Lisa) and Peter (Sherry), sisters Randi and Tammie (Eric), nieces Natalie, Nicole, Sarah, Patricia, Alexis and Chanel, nephews Morgan, Mark, Remi (Brittany), Bronson, Cole, Jeff (Alana), Chris (Paulo), and great nephews Carson, Weston, Koen and Zane and the gift of being bonus Dad to Lauren Lee and Dylan along with many extended family and friends.

Help us celebrate Lars at a Goodbye Gathering on October 24, 2026, at the Royal Canadian Legion in Bowser.

5-6pm Cocktail hour, mingling and complimentary chili and a bun

6-7pm Goodbye Gathering

7-9pm Bring your dancing shoes and celebrate a life well lived!
