Marcel BEAULAC

Marcel died peacefully on Monday March 4th, 2013 at the Arrowsmith Lodge in Parkville where he had been a resident since 2006.  He was 90 years old.

Marcel was predeceased by his wife Therese, infant children Pauline & Gilles, son Gilles and son-in-law Denis Girard.   Survived by his wife, Rose;  children, Jeanne Girard, Nicole (Randy) Ball, Pierrette (Bill) Gardner, Carmen (Dennis) Rasumessen, Cecile (Roy) Clyne, Luc (Sandra) Beaulac; Rose’s children; Lorraine (Allan), Robert (Brenda) Charmaine (John), Richard (Darlene); thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild.

Marcel was born on a farm in Ormeaux, Saskatchewan.   He moved his family to Port Alberni in 1956 and then to the Parksville area in 1982.  He was employed by Mac & Bloe Somass Division until his retirement in 1984.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, March 12th at 11:00 am at the Church of the Ascension in Parksville, BC followed by a luncheon in the parish hall.
