Marion Elizabeth Rivers passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026, in Nanaimo, British Columbia, at the age of 93.
Born in Agassiz, BC, Marion dedicated her life to caring for others as a registered nurse, having studied at the University of British Columbia.
On August 7, 1957, she married Alastair Hewitt Rivers, beginning a life filled with love and family. Marion is survived by her daughter Charlotte Marion Williams nee Rivers and her son, Alastair Craig Rivers, daughter-in-law Linda and grandchildren: Robert (Lysse) Williams, Tanis (Marcus) Cool; Kimberly (Jeffrey) Benjamin, Katrina (Carter) Rivers and great-grandsons Ethan, Logan, Declan and Leo.
Marion’s legacy is one of compassion, dedication, and love for her family and community. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
